Far East Cable launches new generation 35kV environmentally friendly medium voltage cable
Far East Cable Co., Ltd., a leading enterprise in the domestic cable industry, has officially released a new generation of 35kV environmentally friendly cross-linked polyethylene insulated medium voltage cables. This product adopts a new type of biodegradable polymer material, which has the characteristics of halogen-free, low smoke, flame retardant, etc. During combustion, the toxicity and smoke emissions are greatly reduced, which meets the increasingly strict requirements of urban power grids for public safety.
With the promotion of the "dual carbon" target and the acceleration of urban distribution network transformation, traditional PVC cables are gradually being replaced. The new product released this time is designed for intensive power supply scenarios such as subways, large commercial complexes, and high-rise buildings. It not only meets national standards, but also has insulation performance and service life increased by about 20% compared to traditional products. At present, this series of products has been successfully applied to multiple smart city power grid renovation projects in East China, and has obtained certification and purchase orders from State Grid.
